Vacaaation

Vacation time is on til after the holidays for infinite Christmas music haha. Oh well. Gonna work on an excel sheet in the meantime!

Got sick?

So today I went into the office feeling a bit sick, but it was an inside job so it wasn't so bad. I worked on countdown and was about to pull stuff when I started not being able to see, which, as one could imagine, scared the crap out of me. Apparently, the pressure caused by my sinuses were so bad that they were causing me to blackout. Anyways, I rushed to the doctor and then home -- never made it to classes -- and will finish the countdown probably tonight or tomorrow after school and newspaper writing. Oh well. Neil and Steve were really nice to me and seemed concerned. Never gets boring, does it? haha. I guess I won't be attending my last event on Thursday because I haven't begun the recovery process yet and I do have medicine to take!

Event today

So I went to an event today at Broadway Mall for a NY Islanders store thing. It was a lot of fun because we were all joking around and having fun, we had pretzels (at different times), and I even met the goalie (Rick DiPietro) who was there to do autographs.

This is my second to last event to do as I officially finished my internship, with the exception of morning show production every week :] I'm glad they still want me to stay. I didn't go in this morning because I had a lot of crap to do for school and such, and next semester I'll be coming in whenever I need and really running the show by writing out the words and everything. I'm testing it out this week with writing everything myself. Whoohoo!

Break's So Close!

So I came in again this morning and I'm working on some cuts. It was a little hard waking up to come to the station, but I did it! After this, it's ALL about break :)

Bleh

I was supposed to go to an event yesterday but I couldn't because my grandpa needed me to take him to the doctor and that was very important to do.

I'm currently at the radio station right now taking notes down on some public speaking stuff, and then I think I may be done. Can't wait til it's closer to the end of the day, and I really can't wait until tomorrow!

Client Party

So all the interns (or the ones that are left) got together and we helped out at the MANDATORY event on Thursday, which was the client party. Everyone invited got to participate in the "casino" which, if you won a lot, you got raffles and could possibly win a prize or something. I don't know -- we were all signing people in and giving them nametags. The nametags later were a lot of fun to do because we made crazy ones for ourself, including "Chris King" for me (who sadly quit the other day). Another intern was "Bill Brown" and another "Joe Cosmo." We enjoyed ourselves. And then we even got to dance a bit later.

Events

So last week it was cold and rainy and crappy but we went to pathmark for Island Harvest. It was better because of Erin and Heather.

Today is the client party. Dressing up.

Next Monday is Island Harvest part dux.
